Glastonbury Newcomers' & Neighbors' Club (GNN) is super excited to join forces with Hartford Baking Co - Glastonbury to host our first Drive-Through Trunk or Treat. To ensure social distancing and comply with CT state rules, registration is limited to 150 children with spaces available on a staggered, timed basis. (Rain date Oct 30).
Participation is free (just reserve a free ticket for each child) but donations of "new" socks for our GNN kid's annual Socktober sock drive will be accepted at check in and extremely appreciated. To make this a spooktacular event, please remain in your cars to enjoy the fun :)
To open the thrills, pick up your pre-ordered special Halloween themed decorate your own Cookie Boxes FRESH baked by Hartford Baking Company which include a fun-shaped sugar cookie with two different color icings and sprinkles to take home, decorate and enjoy! Each kit is $5.50 including tax. Pre-order no later than October 20. A n order ink will be included in your confirmation email as well as displayed on the confirmation screen.
Then drive by our volunteers' eerily decorated trunks - don't forget to decide your favorite and vote by social media on our GNN Facebook page afterwards. The first and second place trunks will win an amazing prize sponsored by HBC to go along with Halloween fame and glory.
Finally, each child will collect an awesome treat bag full of both candy and non-candy treats. For covid-safety, the bags will be pre-packed and quarantined. Apologies, we cannot guarantee allergy friendly items, however, everything will be individually wrapped.
